VA Pay Schedule
The monthly payment schedule on which the VA distributes disability compensation, pension, and other recurring benefit payments -- typically the first business day of each month for the prior month's benefit.
If the first falls on a weekend or federal holiday, payment is made on the preceding business day.
COLA increases take effect January 1 and appear in the first payment of the new year.
Veterans can set up direct deposit through VA.gov to receive payments faster and more securely.
