Healthcare and Medicaid questions in Florida
Florida has not adopted Medicaid expansion, so coverage for adults is limited. Eligibility generally requires being pregnant, a parent with very low income, age 65 or older, or having a qualifying disability. Children usually qualify at higher income levels through CHIP. Adults who do not qualify may be eligible for subsidized Marketplace coverage instead.
