Vets and seniors may worry about losing their Social Security benefits. The Ticket to Work program can help. It lets people try working again without instantly losing their disability payments. This free program helps you get job training and find a job. This way, you can slowly depend less on your benefits. You can also earn more money over time. Eligibility to the Ticket to Work program requires that you receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). It also requires that you be between 18 and 64 years old. The program works with groups that help people find jobs and get training. These groups are called Employment Networks. They can help you with things like writing a resume and practicing for interviews. They can also help you find a job that fits your skills and health needs. You can talk to a benefits counselor. They can help you understand how working might change your specific benefits. To learn more or to find an Employment Network, you can visit the official Social Security Administration website.
